Kristin Tedford, AIA, NCIDQ, WELL AP, LEED GA is a Principal at Saam Architecture leading the firm's Higher Education practice. She believes great design balances functionality, beauty, and budget, creating spaces that are both inspiring and practical. Kristin enjoys solving complex design challenges and finding creative ways to maximize every project dollar without compromising the overall vision.

Kristin works closely with clients from programming through construction, translating their goals into thoughtful, efficient spaces that support the people who use them every day. Her background in both architecture and interior design allows her to approach projects holistically, always considering how a space looks, functions, and evolves over time.

Outside of work, Kristin finds inspiration through travel and the outdoors. Exploring new places and experiencing different cultures has shaped the way she thinks about design and the role spaces play in creating memorable experiences. Whether she's skiing, hiking, golfing, biking, or spending time in her home state of Maine, she is happiest outdoors, and that appreciation for active, connected communities influences her work every day.
