Gale Associates Office Renovation

In early 2023, Gale Associates moved in to their new office at 300 Ledgewood Place in Rockland, MA and engaged Saam to create space plans and interior design options and perform test fits. Gale wanted to consolidate and downsize their square footage by reducing storage and printing areas, economizing the office and workstation layouts, and accounting for a reduced office presence due to remote work and flexibility.

There are multiple departments within Gale: Civil/Athletics, BECx/Architects, BEDC, Structural, HR, Accounting, Marketing and IT; it was important to keep staff within these departments together. The firm is anticipating future growth of at least 5% over the next 10 years and required office spaces that could accommodate additional desks as needed for flexibility.

Saam selected a finish palette and appropriate design details for high-impact spaces, including the reception area and cafeteria, as well as created large-scale wall graphics in the open office and lounge area.
