Catherine is a young designer who is excited to be working with the Saam team. She is passionate about sustainable and inclusive design and believes these qualities are equally essential to architecture. She enjoys working on various types of public projects and is ready to contribute to her community through thoughtful design.
Catherine is a recent graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she received a Bachelor of Architecture and minors in Civil Engineering and Science, Technology & Society. While at RPI, she spent a semester at the CASE (Center for Architecture, Science, & Ecology) research facility in Brooklyn, NY where she worked with sustainable materials and innovative design processes. She is currently working toward her Massachusetts architecture license. Originally from Rhode Island, Catie has previously interned with New England area firms and is eager to take that experience, as well as her educational background, with her to Saam.
Outside of architecture, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking, singing in choral groups, gardening, traveling, and playing tennis.
