Burt Hill/Stantec completed this project as the Associate Architect with Jonathan Levi Architects. The school is composed of two wings with a core of communal spaces. Sustainable design elements include use of light shelves to maximize daylight and displacement ventilation in all classrooms.
The new Roger E. Wellington Elementary School was one of the early Ch.149A projects at MSBA. The BIM model on the project was considered an exemplary collaboration tool in a public bid environment. The project sustainability goals are benchmarked by the California High Performance Schools rating system.
Saam team members participated in CM selection and Trade Contractors pre-qualification and were employees of Stantec Architecture for this project. Burt Hill/Stantec completed this project as the Associate Architect with Jonathan Levi Architects.
