Since 1992 members of Saam architecture have completed numerous projects at the Davis and Furber Machine Company complex, with three owners including most recently for RCG, LLC, a real estate investment, development, and management firm headquartered in Somerville, MA.

The East and West Mills are the former campuses of the Davis and Furber Machine Shop that serves as the centerpiece of the Machine Shop Village Neighborhood Conservation District located in North Andover, Massachusetts.

As developer for the RCG North Andover Mills LLC, RCG LLC has breathed new life into the deteriorating property by introducing a mix of residential, retail, and higher quality office uses that are consistent with thriving downtown neighborhoods and in line with RCG’s goals of developing ‘sustainable’ communities.

Saam’s scope included the coordination of laser scanning and development of a BIM database of all the existing buildings.
