Esti Shapiro

Esti is an emerging designer who is committed to and inspired by architecture’s capacity to enhance and resonate with communities.

Esti’s professional experience is primarily in higher education design in Denver, Colorado, where she was born and raised. She received her Masters of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Her graduate research explored relationships between architecture, urbanism, and narratives of place, including traveling to Benin to study the West African storytelling tradition of the Griot, and completing a thesis entitled “A People’s Museum: Reframing Public Histories through Spaces of Multiple Truths.”

The progressive and innovative approach to architectural practice at Saam is particularly inspiring to Esti, and she looks forward to learning from and contributing to this unique team.
