miep keller
senior associate
Miep has worked for 16 years in the architecture industry in both PA and PM roles, and loves all things architecture! She is a ‘generalist’ architect with experience in widely varying program types, including museums, laboratories, offices, residences, and schools. She typically stays on projects beginning to end.
She loves detailing — especially exterior details, as they can be some of the trickiest. She is passionate about research efforts on efficient building enclosures, and contributed to a report for the AIA Upjohn Research Grant, which evaluated the performance of facades. Using infrared cameras and THERM, building enclosures were investigated with a focus on where thermal bridging occurs and how much it contributes to loss of energy performance in building envelopes. Miep presented the research findings at ABX (ArchitectureBoston expo) as well as Boston Facades+.
Miep is devoted to office culture and was co-chair of a mentorship program at her previous firm.
