Amenities include a film screening room and conference room, restaurant, retail, and parking. At all scales, the Broadway Hotel is a gesture to the craft and industry of South Boston. From the iron spot brick and white glazed tile forming the façade down to the smallest custom furniture pieces in the guestrooms, the contextual concept is consistent.
Thoughtful, specific spaces, elegant contemporary detailing and purposeful found objects will provide a memorable experience for guests. The bright Broadway sign atop the building will provide a bookend to the seaport district and a beacon from which the urban fabric will become more legible. The project celebrates the elegance of craft, industry and innovation without an over-reliance on nostalgia but rather a hopeful vision for the future Boston as a thriving creative hub.
